Brett is seated at a long table, which is covered in a black table cloth. To his right is Diego Silva and to his left is Mark Martin. Various reporters are seated in front of the table.
Brett Ferguson: I called this press conference together to announce my departure from Chaos Crew and my teaming up with Cursed FC. I knew there would probably be some questions about this so let's get right into it.
Reporter: How has everyone at Chaos Crew taken this news?
Brett Ferguson: I sat down personally with Mitch and we discussed my reasons for leaving. Chaos Crew has only been good to me. They lead me to my first title and that means a lot to me. Mitch and I are still on great terms and we always will be. He understands why I am leaving and he stated the door at Chaos Crew is always open for me.
Reporter: Can you go into detail on why exactly you're leaving Chaos Crew and joining Cursed FC?
Brett Ferguson: Obviously I hit a slight slump with losing two in a row. I lost to two incredible fighters, one being the former light heavyweight champion and the other being the current light heavyweight champion. I just started to get back on track with my win of JB, but I felt like something was missing. I've been away from home a good bit and with Cursed based out of my home town of Miami things are just a better fight. Not to mention Diego and Mark are incredible trainers and fighters.
Reporter: How soon do you think it will be before you get another shot at the light heavyweight title?
Brett Ferguson: Who knows.....I'm not begging for a spot because I know that I will get back to that spot. It takes hard work and dedication and that's what I'm about. Hopefully sooner rather than later you'll see me challenging for the title once again.
Reporter: Brandon Johnson, currect Chaos Crew member and your former team mate, is the current champ. Is there any kind of hard feelings between the two of you?
Brett Ferguson: None that I know of. At least on my part there isn't. Brandon is incredible and he deserves to be where he's at. He's fought hard to get that title and he deserves to enjoy the spotlight right now. Does that mean I don't want to take the title away from him? Of course not! One day Brandon and I will have our rubber match and we'll settle who is the better fighter. Now that's all the time I have. I appreciate everyone coming out, but I've got a training session to get too.
Brett stands up as well as Diego and Mark. All three exit the area.
