Freddy Martin: Although I am the Middleweight champion of the IMMAF many people do not know my background so I figured I owe it to the fans that I post a short bio of myself right here.
Bio: Freddy Martin was born in Newark New Jersey, a rough neibourhood not fit for a weak nerd such as Martin. Instead of having to fight battles on the street Martin did it inside on computer games such as World of Warcraft, Unreal Tournament, and Counter-Strike. Martin avoided many sports afraid of the jocks and bullys who roamed around his school. After getting into a conflict online with another gamer (which consisted of a war of words) Martin said he could kick the other gamer's ass. The gamer asked with what and Martin responded with the one term he could think of from MMA...Jiu jitsu. The gamer called the bluff on Martin (who at this point had never done any sports in general let alone grappling). Martin learnt jiu jitsu at a local school and despite his lack of strength and athleticism was a natural at learning the techniques using his intelligence, speed, and muscle memory abilities. After doing BJJ everyday from college all the way into his 20s he rightfully earned his blackbelt which included Grappler's Quest New Jersey tournament wins and many others on a national and even world level. Martin found MMA after talking with Ukrainian born Rahway New Jersey fighter Leonid Grigoriev who invited him to train at We Beat Our Wives Club.
Freddy Martin has only lost once to John Evans which he avenged in a rematch. While not training with Regis Simmons and Leonid Grigoriev Martin is an entrepreneur who runs the Newark Cyber Cafe and in the basement gives private BJJ lessons.

I should make one of my guys from Canada (Or New Guinea or where ever you hail from) as a homage to you. I guess Leonard Hauser's going to have to make a move.
The reason I like Rahway so much is because Emmanuel Yarbrough's from it and I've been there. When I first saw UFC 3, I was like "Holy shit, I've been to Beana's Mexican Restaurant from Rahway!"
Contrary to the exhibition Yarbrough put on, a lot of wrestlers (And probably grapplers) from Rahway are hyper-aggressive (Even the fat kids). They also hate to lose. It doesn't matter if it's an away game and the lockerroom's a newly refurbished, state-of-the-art masterpiece; a few guys will inevitably tear that shit up.
I had an epic back and forth match with a Rahway guy last February, and I got it on tape. I can't wait until I get my DVD decoder for the computer so I can post it and get my ego stroked by total strangers.

Wow thanks for the kind words I dont know much to say. I live in Scarborough Ontario Canada the multicultural, sometimes concidered rough sub urbs of Toronto Ontario. Its given nicknames like Scarberia (because of its relatively long distance from downtown), Scarlem (For having some 'hoodish areas.) Or recently Scar Lanka for its high Tamil population (I'm white and practically concider myself a minority here jokingly.) If you post your wrestling matches I might be forced to post my judo sparring matches (randori) lol.
If you wanted to do something for me you could adopt Manvel Amadi, put him up to lightweight and have him join Shipwreck Carnival's circus as The Wrestling Midget (hes actually 5'5" oh well close enough.)

Well if you want it you got it, buddy:
Here is the match in question. Notice how I was a silhouette for a brief moment when entering the mat. That should be my signature entrance for every match. And yes, purple was a voluntary choice.

I give this to you fallin since I kind of made a self promise to myself that if you posted a wrestling match I'd post some of my judo sparring. Ok so it isnt as exciting as fallin's wrestling match but my ground game is way better and I will be starting BJJ this September hopefully. Unfortunatly I don't have any footage of my ground game figures. I'm still working on the throwing aspect of judo but I've improved tremendously. Still my rolling break falls suck video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7019438386013738462&hl=enP.S. I am the orange belt wearing the Coca Cola undershirt. Oh and fallin your actually pretty damn good at wrestling I'm impressed.

Are you the big guy or the one with the hair? Either way, you accomphlished more in Judo than I ever did. I used to take classes once a week at the local MMA club. I did a tourney once and got PWNED. I was a noob at wrestling at that point, too, so I didn't know bull-rushing a green belt was a bad idea. Damn slippery-ass Judo mats........ I probably still have the videos.

I'm the big guy facing the blue belt at the start Keep in mind the blue belt may be only 1-2 years older than me and alot smaller he has about 3 times the experience as I do hes also very fast and hard to catch. Hes a guy I spar with alot. His dad is the short stocky guy who throws the other young blue belt (I really don't like him and he uses brute strength over technique compared to his son. When I was a white belt he pretty much went full out on me so I pretty much hate him for life and hes become a bit of a rival for me. Wait til I start BJJ...) Needless to say I'm used to being an underdog in my judo club as I'm the only new guy in the last three years whos stayed in this same club from white to orange so its tough when you always face guys better than you. (The other orange I've only faced once and hes come back after a long hiatus due to school.) His dad that green belt hes sparring with is his dad we have interesting ground battles wish I could show them. The black belt is our sensei. Guys commentating are my dad and his friend.

Yeah, the other guy seemed much quicker then you. The whole fight looked kind of awkward though... then again... I've never taken a Judo class. Anyways, keep it up Ryan...

In all honesty, that was probably the sloppiest performance I gave that season. I was used to steamrolling kids so I didn't have much incentive to improve. But after a Summer of sharpening my skills against state-level wrestlers, I'm hoping to wrestle with finesse and skill in the varsity line up.
I have some other matches on tape. I'm not going to say that they're particularly impressive, but I think you guys will enjoy them anyway. You'll see why:
Apparently my opponent's father was standing right next to the video camera and shouted "That a boy, Eddie!" when the kid got my leg. Little did he know how quickly I could transition into a balls-in-your-face pin. Yeah, everyone gets a big kick out of this one. And the ref looks like that guy from Harry Potter 3.
