Dwayne Rockwell: Hello IMMAF fans out there! We have returned to the Shidokan this year. I'm here with COSTANZO GRANITELLI, the President of the IMMAF.
Costanzo: Thanks for the intro! We've got one final matchup here in this tournament. We'd usually have the last Shidokan Champ fight the Ultimate Shidokan Champ, or Ultimate Ultimate in the last case of Gadd vs Sakurai. We had Gadd & Sakurai face off for the Ultimate Ultimate because we thought Shidokan would be dead, but we brought it back. So whoever wins this, Mason Wolfe or Rix Hallmein, will face Gadd in the UUS.
Dwayne: What's intriguing is that Hallmein, if he wins, gets a chance to avenge his losses and beat Gadd. Hallmein is unarguably the best Shidokan fighter, considering the fact that he has fought the most in it and was champ many times.
Costanzo: This fight has an obvious setup, Hallmein, even with his strength and size advantage, wants this on the ground. He is not the one dimensional man he used to be on the feet, but after seeing Wolfe's fight against Evans, Rix better take this down. Mason will be looking for the KO on the feet.
SHIDOKAN 7 CHAMPIONSHIP
HALLMEIN VS WOLFE
.........ROUND 1 STARTS.........
RIX HALLMEIN GRABS MASON WOLFE IN A CLINCH......
RIX HALLMEIN GOES FOR A CHOKE SLAM
...... MASON WOLFE IS SLAMMED HEAD-FIRST TO THE MAT!!........
MASON WOLFE IS STAGGERED!!!!.......
MASON WOLFE IS KNOCKED OUT COLD BY THE SLAM! WHAT A TREMENDOUS KO!!
RIX HALLMEIN WINS BY KO / SLAM / CHOKE SLAM AT THE TIME OF 0 : 14 OF ROUND 1 .
Costanzo: Hallmein comes out with a bang and ends the fight very quickly! Mason did not even have time to do anything.
Dwayne: That size and strength advantage definitely came into play here.
Costanzo: For sure. Mason seemed to try and get in the pocket to get off some really hard shots, that was the mistake. When he got on the inside Hallmein just slammed him. He should have looked to stay more on the outside.
Dwayne: Hallmein returns to former glory!
Costanzo: That he does, congrats champ! I hope you guys join us for the next International Shidokan.
