[We are gathered at the training facility in Malibu, California of the world-class MMA camp known as Team Dynamite. Several local and national broadcast stations have set up cameras trained on the handsome man standing at the podium before them, most noticeably are KTLA, Spike, and ESPN. The man is already in mid-speech.]
[glow=red,2,300]Talan Stihl:[/glow] ...that I have arrived at a point in my career where I feel that this transition is necessary. I wish to thank Mr. Somers in believing in me and my abilities inside the cage. He saw the potential within me and gave me the chance to hone my skills and the platform to succeed in this sport. It is with a heavy heart, but not with regret, that I not renew my contract with Team Dynamite. I have agreep to represent Stonedog FC and hopefully, soon, I can bring them the IMMAF World Light Heavyweight title.
Team Dynamite is full of top notch, champion-caliber fighters. And because I have such close ties, I may even continue to corner some of their fights if Paul would ever need me in that capacity. I will always be grateful for the time that I have spent training for all of my fights here. But it is now time to usher in the Stihl-Stonedog partnership era of my career. Thank you for coming.

Rix Hallmein: It is the way most go, barely anyone ever stays loyal to the same place. I however can be one to make that claim. Should be interesting to see how this develops.

Hallmein: Leaving is not always a bad thing, I do not look down on Tobius for leaving the Chaos Crew for Rising Sun Dojo. Then when he came back from retirement he had his own camp. Naturally people need to move on to grow more as a fighter, perhaps that is where I have made a career mistake.

[Paul Somers takes the podium as Talan moves to the right.]
"You know I've known this was coming for a couple of weeks now as Talan and I had many discussions about this. What it all comes down to is that this is a business now whether we like it or not. I know how he feels though as I made the same decision when I left the Chaos Crew to be closer to home. I can tell you it wasn't a matter of finances because let's face it, that's not a problem at all."
[pause]
"Talan's been a great friend, team mate, and trainer and competitor. He's got tremendous talent and work ethic. He's not one of those talented guys that just let things come to him. He busts his ass and goes after what he wants. I have the utmost respect for him and I know we'll meet again inside the cage, but I also know we'll maintain the friendship outside it as well."
[pause]
"Best of luck to you Talan in your career and whatever ventures you partake on in the future. You'll always have a home here."

((And that's not 'agreep'. I swear it was 'agreed' when I typed it. The 'd' must have fallen off one hinge.))
