Alright this idea will be almost a rip off of a league I was in before, but not near as good. Not near as good because it will not have as much depth (salary, training, etc.)
But just like the IFL with teams, I was thinking we could do something similar to this with all NEW fighters and not current fighters. This would be an IMMAF affiliated org but completely separate for the time being. It would be like the NFL as well. We would have either 8 or 16 teams split into one or two "conferences". Each team would be coached by a fictional MMA figure. (These coaches could be fighters already associated w/the IMMAF or newly made up.)
Here's how it will basically work at the start;
Depending on whether it is 8 or 16 teams (people that want in) I will create enough fighters for each team. These fighters will remain nameless (I.E. MW #1). They will have a scouting report where you can tell what their stats are, rated in a way that leaves an idea but keeps it vague. (Something like 8 to 10=A rating, 6 to 8=B, the league FIST I used to be in had this system). Then, we will hold drafts. Some fighters will start off with more points than others, but all will have the same cap. Each team will have 1 LW, WW, MW, LHW, HW.
Once they are drafted you name the fighters and I get you the stats. From there we move on with the regular season matchups. Eventually it will move on to something similar to NFL playoffs and end in crowning a team champion.
This is the basic gist of it. I'm thinking of NOT following the no 0 system here at IMMAF, but implementing a much simpler training system than was in FIST. (Something like 1 or 2 points a week/block training) Fighters would likely be capped off at 97 like in IMMAF.
If later guys from this league were chosen to move over in to IMMAF, perhaps they could be converted to allow 0 stats here.
Are people interested in this board or not?
Oh and just for the record. For the draft and everything that would follow, I would make a new board. But the actual fights would most likely take place on an IFN on this board. The idea of a new board for the org would just keep this IMMAF board less cluttered, because we all know it's a charlie foxtrot.
I'm posting this in the planning stages TIF 7 forum. There you can reserve a spot. If there is interest, which I hope there is, the idea will move on into the beginning stages.
Just for anyone who is concerned;

Just for anyone who is concerned;
- IMMAF/WotC would still be priority #1.
- This league would/will be much slower paced. Say there were 8 teams. Most likely only 2 of them would face off a week. Then the next week another 2 teams would face off, etc.
- I will most likely not have a team, especially since I will know all the stats.
