-Through talking with Fallin and hearing people didn't like the rule, I had already altered the rule to only fouls causing cuts. So really, if people were patient and waited til I posted again, there was no need to bitch at all . Fight decisions through the simulator can be made a NC if it was determined to be caused by a foul.
-You can only move 2 guys from their weight class to another every month. The only exceptions are special occasions like a superfight where someone like Paul Somers would move up and fight Keith Stern at HW.
FIGHTER STAT EDIT RULE - This is a big one, and it will be under more change when I think about it more. Guys come in with stats like 8 PUN, 10 GPO, 10 GST, 7 SUB. Then all of a sudden they become 0 PUN, 10 GPO, 0 GST, 10 SUB. That makes no sense at all. A guy going from awesome in GST to nothing there? Many people do things like this. (Example: Wayne Aboussleman) It also happens in the reverse, where someone is a striker and weak on the ground, then they have almost no standup besides lucky shots and are awesome on the ground (Example: Steven Morgan).
So in this rule, the max you can take off a guy in each edit is limited to stats themselves. You can only subtract a maximum of 2 from a stat, anything else is too drastic of a change IMO. As I said this will be under construction, because now the number of edits will have to be time limited as well. You can't send me an edit then send another minutes later. We don't go for all realism but I feel this is a good rule.
Member Inactivity/Quitting Rule
We have many members who go inactive, more than are currently here I would say. Some come back eventually, leave, come back, or never do (etc.) Their fighters are continued to be put through at the admins (Ty & Cap) descretion. Example: Durden created Fujita, Jose DeSousa, Tyler Durden, Matt O'Toole (retired), etc. We have kept most of these guys on as roster mainstays, although O'Toole was recently retired.
Jason (Owner of Talan Stihl, Jaya Tohpati (both retired), and others) left. His guys have been slowly phased out at Captain and Is' discretion.
Member Quitting
Same deal. If someone quits, we can't even take a post of theirs serious saying "all of my fighters are retired, bye." Because while IMMAF does put some more "fantasy" elements in place instead of complete realism, to have a massive roster shift from one user leaving would just not be good business. (So it would depend on the case of the member)
For example, say David Lee (currently inactive for a month or two) who owns David Lee and Vernon Tilden left. Tilden is 1-7-0 and Lee is 7-9-0. We can retire these guys or keep them on/phase them out when we want, but they are not too important to the main picture of the IMMAF. They could be completely retired anytime and it wouldn't matter.
But lets say someone like Mitch Armour, Fallin, Daniels, or Blind left. These guys have a lot of fighters in each of IMMAF's divisions and effect the big picture. If they leave, the admins will have to keep on their fighters/phase them out as they wish to keep the picture of the org. in place.
